The Doctor will see you now…

We are pleased to report that Dr Dane Vishnubala (MBBS PGCME MRCGP FHEA) has already made a positive impact since joining as our Chief Medical Adviser in January.  Dane is working in close partnership with us to help develop the health-related content of our qualifications and his input is keeping us up to date with current best practice.

One of his first tasks was to support us with the launch of our new Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training, to enhance the ability of personal trainers to deal with the rising number of clients with medical and healthcare needs.

New and refreshed modules addressing Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Chronic Diseases, Behaviour Change, Exercise and Business Skills have been created to provide a fully refreshed qualification that is up to date and fit for purpose to prepare our future workforce.

“It is nice to see that Active IQ has taken on board research and evaluation regarding qualifications and with this created a personal trainer qualification we can definitely be proud of”

Dr Dane Vishnubala.
